EUSOBI Workshop with Dr. Lang-Anderson

At the recent European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI) meeting in Maastricht, Dr. Elvira Lang-Anderson highlighted the value of practical communication skills in breast imaging.

In her workshop, “Empathy: How We Make It Operational,” she spoke about how healthcare professionals can translate empathy into effective communication techniques that enhance patient comfort and support positive imaging procedure experiences. The strong interest in the workshop reaffirms the importance of making empathy an integral, teachable, and practical part of patient-centered care.

The meeting was also an opportunity to reconnect with professionals who have incorporated Comfort Talk® training into their everyday practice following our training with Bevolkingsonderzoek Nederland. Their continued use of these skills demonstrates the lasting value of practical communication training!
