Dr. Elvira Lang-Anderson’s Work on mHealth Published
Dr. Elvira Lang-Anderson’s work on Methodological Challenges in Randomized Controlled Trials of mHealth Interventions: Cross-Sectional Survey Study and Consensus-Based Recommendations has been published.
mHealth refers to the use of mobile communication devices, such as smartphones, to support health, healthcare, and public health initiatives. The insights gained through the development, release, and rigorous testing of the Comfort Talk® Pro app, along with the publication of findings on methodological challenges in randomized controlled trials (RCTs), were instrumental in shaping these new consensus-based recommendations.
“It was an honor to collaborate with a distinguished group of experts in the field to explore how studies on mobile health (mHealth) apps can better identify what works and what doesn’t.”
