Comfort Talk® Self Learning Activity
The California Board of Nursing and ADA CERP will award 9 Continuing Education credits (CEs) as a Continuing Education Self-Learning Activity to Nurses and Dental Professionals who read the text and achieve a passing score on the corresponding post-test of Patient Sedation Without Medication: Rapid rapport and quick hypnotic techniques. Comfort Talk® Intensive Core Group Training
This course comprises two 3-day visits, each with one day of classroom training plus two days of onsite training support for practical skill application with patients; two additional 1-2 day visits for onsite training support over 6 months; and one year web-based support for trainees to develop and fine tune site-specific behaviors and language preferences. This training creates a core team that can change the culture to a more patient-centered and less stressful work environment. The training also facilitates modeling for support staff who do not take the Core Group Training.
Comfort Talk® Online Training
This is an interactive module designed to further build and disseminate the site-specific Comfort Talk® culture throughout your institution. The training helps new hires to quickly become integrated members of the Core Team and supports skill maintenance and certification. We offer the training either as a full online experience or “Flipped Classroom” with online preparation and one day contact time either in Boston or onsite.
Comfort Talk® Train the Trainer Course
This course teaches onsite core team members to become onsite Comfort Talk® Trainers. Our training provides your staff an opportunity to earn CE Credits and Comfort Talk® Trainer Certification as they learn effective patient-interaction skills. It includes web-based interactive training and classroom practice onsite or offsite, training materials, onsite observation and feedback during the initial training efforts of the trainers, and one year web-based trainer support. Materials and web support for subsequent trainees of the Trained Trainers will be subscription based depending on number of trainees.
Co-Branded Comfort Talk® Pro App
This application helps patients prepare for their upcoming hospital appointment. We can customize the App with your hospital branding and specific information such as directions and preparation instructions. The App helps your departmental treatment team to familiarize with patient preferences for coping and relaxation before they arrive and optimizes the onsite patient experience.
