Dr. Lang-Anderson Speaks At Yale’s VAMOS Conference

Dr. Elvira Lang-Anderson recently spoke at Yale’s VAMOS Conference in New York. Her talk focused on the cardiac catheterization lab and its challenges in where not only patients but the staff can be stressed and emotions can be easily transferred.

She spoke on how it only takes one stressed person in a room to influence the whole room. But as easily as one person can stress out an entire room, it is sufficient just to relax one person in the room to bring upon improved results for the patient, greater job satisfaction of the staff, and operations of the system.

Dr. Lang-Anderson also talked through the additional challenge of current staff shortages that require bringing the enjoyment of work back into the medical field.

This insightful talk presented how the Comfort Talk® principles can bring positive changes in all these areas!
